So which Black draw spell to use

I'm thinking of building Dega for post rotation, and can't decide which draw spell to use if needed. Read the Bones or Sign in Blood . So which one is better? I'm tempted to do Read the Bones because it's only 1 black instead of two and you get to Scry before the draw. But Sign in Blood is a turn earlier, but it's 2 Black. So which one is better?

It probably depends on how much black your deck has. I tend to prefer Read the Bones regardless, but it's definitely the better choice if you don't have a ton of black mana sources and might have trouble getting BB.

Thats what I'm thinking, and right now Dega is too mana intensive, idk how mana intensive it will be post rotation. I'll probably stick with Read the Bones because I would prefer this deck be a slower deck, not an aggro deck.

I prefer Sign in Blood since it's cheaper. It's good anywhere from turn 2 to 20 and since it's cheaper you're more likely to be able to play the cards you draw from it later or it's a turn 2 play.

If you're going more for a control/midrange deck, you really want the extra consistency the scry from Read will provide. If you want more aggro, I guess Sign is decent. But like I said, I prefer Read.

I like read the bones because scry is realllyyy powerful (in midrange and control)

yeah, I'm gonna go with Read, the deck is gonna be really tight on mana like double colors happening often. So cutting down is nice, but the scry is really powerful.
