Are the Sorin, Lord of Innistrad and the Hellrider from the Sorin vs Tibalt Duel Decks standrad legal right now since Dark Ascension is standard legal still? Or, do they need to be the cards from the actual Innistrad block set?

They are legal. Any printing of a card is legal (assuming it meets standard play regulations such as rounded black/white corners) as long as a printing of the exact same card is legal.

Yes they are legal as long as the name of the card is the same as a standard legal card it is legal. The art really doesn't matter as long as it is a wizards card with the same name as a standard legal card.

With the added black and white borders. Gold borders not tourney legal ever.

Hmm why isn't gold legal?

Because gold-bordered cards are collector's edition or commemorative cards, not regular cards.

Also, silver-bordered cards, which are also illegal, are "joke set" cards.
