Rotation doesn't happen until Theros. As such, there's no way to gauge which decks will be best after rotation. Most decks lose something, and we won't know what the new meta might look like until the Theros spoilers are released.

Play what's good now for as long as it's good.

Also, moved to Standard because this isn't about help with a deck.

Since we don't know anything about Theros or everything m14 has to offer, there's no way to build a post-rotation deck effectively. You could build a RTR block deck, but it will most likely be guild oriented, and will likely be lightyears behind an actual post-rotation deck.

Budget decks are pretty much any deck running cheap lands and no chase mythics. Anything you can scrape together with those restrictions will be cheap.

The game store I just started going to plays in extended so i wont have to change my deck when standard rotates (yay!). Ill probably just build a new deck to run after standard rotates though.

I had this same question for a while, but I came to the conclusion that it's just better to wait until we see some spoilers of theros. I'm expecting to see some form of graveyard interaction, similar to flashback. Hopefully more artifacts, as the last few blocks have had really weak artifacts. But for now, would just enjoy Innistrad while you can.

Rotation when hit until Theros comes out in October. By then, you will be building decks STRICTLY with Return to Ravnica block as well as M2014 and Theros. hard to predict what Theros will bring, so I'm gonig out on a limb here and saying that the aggro decks will be good as they lose the least amount of spells.

Still, midrange decks are able to use 3 or more colors so we'll have to see.

Generally, every deck loses something in rotation, so you should be on even footing with everyone else.

If you're not playing reanimator, you'll be fine. If you are...September is your death knell.
