Stab Wound and Icy Blast? Other overlooked cards?

Ever since I drafted an Icy Blast I've wanted to use it desperately. Obviously you can see why... lol.
I'm running a Grixis Dragon Deck tonight and while looking through the collection the other day I've noticed Stab Wound and Icy Blast
I've gotten my creatures Encase in Ice quite a few times and it can be rather frustrating. Same with Icefall Regent freezing my creatures. But what about throwing a Stab Wound on a Dragonlord Ojutai?
Every turn they'll get a free Anticipate if they manage to deal damage to you but they'll also be suffering from 2 damage at the beginning of their upkeep while ALSO making the dragon only hit for 3 damage opposed to five. And he then becomes vulnerable to Draconic Roar. That's 5 damage minimum if it works out in your favor.
Icy Blast could perhaps be of use against aggro decks but something tells me it isn't really worth it. I know I've seen a few mono-black aggro decks and have fallen victim to Mogis Marauder quite a few times. Icy Blast could probably help out in dire moments such as that? RDW too maybe?
I've been a bit of an exploratory phase, looking for overlooked cards in the format. Do you think these are worth the try? Or is there other overlooked cards I'm missing
I feel like if you have the opening to target a dragonlord ojutai you might as well just kill it they will just draw another one and sac the original

You still lose the damage race in that scenario. They deal 3 draw 1, you deal 2. I'm with emblem man, just kill it instead.

The problem with freeze spells is that they are simply worst bounce spells. Opponents dont have to repay mana for them...

Kill it some other way though, save your Stab Wound for something that you won't suffer card disadvantage for enchanting. Courser of Kruphix, get stabbed. Deathmist Raptor, get stabbed. Shaman of Forgotten Ways, get stabbed.

Battlefield Thaumaturge would be great with Icy Blast. Same with Glimpse the Sun God.

Before DTK I made a 
Treasure Cruise deck. It utilized Icy Blast for clearing the path for a pumped up Monastery Swiftspear.

Icy Blast was awesome before DTK, if you had enough ferocious that is. Now, I would not run it against Esper Dragons, and I also am pessimistic against Thunderbreak. You want to kill those dragons rather than take 6 for targeting one and 6 for targeting the other.
Now I'm hot on Polymorphist's Jest, especially when combined with cards that deal the remaining 1.

jubale, indeed, just imagine Drown in Sorrow + Polymorphist's Jest , Polymorphist's Jest + Silumgar, the Drifting Death , or Circle of Flame + Polymorphist's Jest .

Stab Wound is relevant, but using a Draconic Roar on a wounded foe is card disadvantage.
