Standard on a Budget?
Standard forum

I want to see what this community can come up with on a budget that is completely Standard and could potentially compete in FNM.
All I ask is that you post deck links to standard decks that are $100 (a few bucks over is not a problem, stick as close to 100 or below as possible) that you believe could be viable and FNM competitive.
Thanks!
p.s I understand that the lands take up much of the price for decks, but I have yet to see a Standard deck that is less than or equal to $100 and actually be viable/competitive. Is it even possible?

All my standard decks are budget decks! =) I think this one might have potential: Gatekeepers of Ravnica. I haven't played it since making tweaks to it after its first appearance at FNM. I am also working on another deck that uses Hold the Gates . I love this card! I will hopefully be able to try it soon and let you know how it goes.

Mono-red is typically the go-to for deck building on a budget. The faster you can get the game over, the less a more expensive deck's card quality will matter, and it seizes the opportunity when greedy mana bases stumble.
Something like Red Deck Red Deck, shaving the Mutavault s if you want to bring the price down more. Though granted the price on that deck is greatly diminished by Hellrider and Stromkirk Noble leaving standard in a few weeks.

Mmm I created this a while ago, but many of the good cards are rotating out. It's really cheap though, and works pretty well as long as you have the proper sideboard for your meta.

I always link to Colinrunge's Mono-Black Vampires that can be built for under $25. Any RDW is going to be really competitive for under $50.

ducttapedeckbox's Perfection of Milling was pretty good and its $50 without the lands. He hasn't been on recently but basically, I would add memory adept, tome scour, and maybe traumatize.
