I was wondering about doing standard after Theros hits the shelves. There are a few cards I think I want to brew with, but I want to here what other people from the community had in mind. First of all, Banisher Priest is a must have when fighting decks that use at least one of the 5 Gods from the new set. I also wanted to try Naya Tokens with some of the new cards and I wantde to see of Aristocrats would be a usable deck after the rotation because on all the token production. Fell free to let me know what you think in the comments. I can't wait to hear your ideas!
Banisher priest will only work if the god has full devotion and hence making it a creature. That would take a little longer than the "enchantment" version of the God card coming out. So, would have to hold out on casting the priest until it actually transforms to a creature card ( if it ever happens).

The other bonus of Banisher Priest is that it gives 2 devotion to Heliod, which is a definite bonus. Besides, if someone wants to play around a 2/2 by sac-ing something or other destroy effects, I'm all for it.

Excellent points! Do you guys have plans for Annax and Cymede? I'm going with naya tokens.

In my opinion, Banisher Priest is a great card, however running it amongst three colors in standard is risky because is costs the two white mana to play. I'd say keep it in a two colored deck. I also think Banisher Priest and other cards from M14 like Kalonian Tusker , Lifebane Zombie , Witchstalker , ect. will see a lot of play in those two colored decks because of devotion. Granted we haven't seen many devotion abilities yet but we still have about another 2/3 of the set to see.
