There are some cards I love from the THS/BNG/ and JOU sets, but the one I've loved and wanted to see have significant play is the Underworld Cerberus . This beast has psuedo-evasion, is a 6/6 for 5, and can stop graveyard shenanigans or can refill your hand if playing aggro with creatures in the yard. I have a playset in my former rakdos deck (Now Mardu) and I'm wondering why this card doesn't get more love.

I'd also like to hear your favorite cars that you think have been sort of left behind or just generally overlooked!

P.S I also love Reaper of the Wilds ! Such a good card xD

Crater's Claws is a sleeper for sure. It's a removal spell that can hit players, planeswalkers and creatures, and it scales as the game goes on so that it never becomes irrelevant. It can be used as a finisher if you are running out of gas or if you have the game locked up with a ton of mana left. It's super versatile and definitely splash-able. Either people are overwhelmed with everything else in the set or are just ignoring this because they don't think it's any good, but i'll be using it as a four of in every deck using red that I make this season.

Great point kyuuri117! I love cards that generally are ignored, because I'm usually building these fun and efficient decks with cards people just look at and say "Well, would you look at that" xD

See the Unwritten is getting skipped over a lot in Temur decks. I thought "eh" initially. But decided to try it in my deck and it is quite amazing. It does require either a creature heavy or a delve deck to be of maximum efficiency, but often the cards I lose I don't care about anymore by the time I'm at 6 mana to cast (who needs all those lands and mana dorks anyway? Give me more threats!)

Another one I enjoyed with my permanent heavy play style was Arbiter of the Ideal . With 55+/60 cards in my deck being valid to pull of the top of my deck on inspiration trigger, its just free plays the whole way through and I just draw the card for normal draw if it is an instant or sorcery.

See the unwritten definitely isn't a tooth and nail, but I think it could clearly take the place that called of beasts has left vacant. Probably as a two or three of. Everyone's saying how bad it is, but digging and hitting something like a hornet queen and polukranos for six mana is sick. And if you hit all duds like lands and mana guys? Well, instead of taking six turns to get through all that, you did it in one. Definitely a cool card.

It's not getting an absurd amount of popularity, but I'm really loving Rakshasa Deathdealer

Lets talk about Grim Haruspex in any black aggressive deck.... It provides that extra reach that aggressive decks have never really had. It turns trades into card advantage (more so with Bloodsoaked Champion ) and removal spells into not 1 for 1s but 1 for 2s and it can draw out removal spells that should have gone to some of your better threats. Add to that that it is a 3/2 that fits well in aggressive deck.

mpeach1 ~ I've had Rakshasa Deathdealer cast against me in play tests all this past week and it wins games I completely agree that it's a great card. It's really hard to get rid off.

A card from KTK that I really like but think people are overlooking is Hardened Scales . I assume it's a speed issue. No immediate impact and all that.

And also Hooded Hydra . I just can't help but think that Hooded Hydra and Life's Legacy are meant to be together. Lol

Yea the hydra-legacy combo is pretty sick

@Bellock86 I'm currently running the Rakshasa Deathdealer in my sultai tempo deck and it's a real beater, dropping it turn 2 is always a good feeling xD

@Lord007 I love Grim Haruspex ! I'm trying to choose whether or not to run 2-3 in my mardu strategy. But I guess I'll just test it out a little xD

Toruk15 do some testing. I'm running 4 and I firmly believe that the full playset is the best but you need to find what fits your deck

I personally don't think hooded hydra will see any play. It needs to be in the same type of deck that genesis hydra needs to be in, and they don't play well together. And frankly, genesis hydra is the better card by far.

Damn it weisemanjohn, do not further my delusions that Arbiter of the Ideal has a chance to be playable. I have enough trouble as it is staying away from too-many-hoops cards like Villainous Wealth ...

I think that Purphoros, God of the Forge may get a second breath of life with all the support that token generator decks are getting in Khans. Mardu has more than a few good token makers and encourages using those tokens or cheap mana creatures as fodder for things like Butcher of the Horde or Mardu Ascendancy . It's possible Purphoros could show up as a one or two of to give the deck even more burn by just sitting there and letting the deck do what it already wants to do: make more dudes.

Fated Conflagration

kills everything relevant in a competitive setting, and its fun to upkeep kill and scry their freshly made Walker or Polukranos.

Big Red should run this. 4 of, 2 main, 2 SB.

Sunblade Elf & Devouring Light are my picks...

I agree with every one else who mentioned Rakshasa Deathdealer such an awesome card!

Icy Blast is a great finisher in Temur, and could work as diruption against Mardu decks early on.

Villainous Wealth isn't a sleeper per se, but i think it will be one of the biggest cards around.
