Anybody else a fan of this? My local shop runs a FNM 2 head giant tournament every 3rd Friday of the month.
Here's the deck I'm running tonight with my partner who runs "Wolf Run Junk" with beaters.

I would like that in a tournament, but only if the partner you play with was randomly assigned so you would have to work creatively, and still rely on the strength of your deck alone.
Having a pre-arranged partner can be fun because you can tailor your decks together, but i like the challenge of it as a random encounter.

The problem with random partners is that COMBINED between both you could only run 4 copies of any card or special lands. Those decks that run the same colors usually will have the same cards and thus go against the rules of two headed giant.
I like the format as it adds another dimension to thinking and synergy. Not to mention a lot of cards that don't see play in 1 v 1 games are used to great effect (i.e., Skull Rend , Sylvan Primordial )

I love 2HG. Turbo Fog just completely ruins it. Just let the fog deck protect board state while the other deck builds up. A friend of mine and I have been running a boros/fog combo and it is brutal.
