I am having some trouble deciding what deck to play in Standard and I was hoping the TappedOut Community could help! I am open to all suggestions and I play everything except Izzet. Thanks!

I decided to try Esper Control and see if I like it. I played it a year ago and didn't love it, but now with the wide selection of cards, I'm going to give it a go. Thank You to all that gave deck suggestions.

The best advantage you can have playing control is to know how other decks work too. Otherwise it's like playing blind. As a tip - on your first week playing Esper Control make a note of every other deck you played. Get a deck list if possible. Then make notes of the mistakes you made, timing issues, and how you would replay each game if you had known in advance what was coming. The next week you'll do a million times better.

Good advice, but this should be done all the time :)

Yeah, but the advice is double-useful for control.
