Alright, I want opinions on which of these three cards are better in what types of builds, and also how many in what slots (e.g. aggro/midrange/control, 3main1side/2main0side, etc.).

I'm asking mostly because I'm having some trouble deciding between them in my mono white build. Granted, this will depend heavily on how the metagame breaks down at both the local and pro scenes, but I'd like some basic discussion based on your personal experiences/thoughts.

Right now I just run 4 Banishing Light mainboard as a catch-all removal spell, and I have 4 Suspension Field in the sideboard. I found myself constantly siding out the BLs for the SFs though, since I could deal with planeswalkers with fliers. The best use for them was against gods and Perilous Vault . However, someone made a good point about the interaction between Brimaz, King of Oreskos in my deck and Devouring Light , and I'm wondering if that might be better than Suspension Field most of the time.

to me it comes to a choice between Banishing Light and Devouring Light . I would still consider Suspension Field a SB card, even if you're always siding it in.

So the choice comes down to whether or not you'd prefer the instant speed of Devouring Light , or the consistency and versatility or Banishing Light .

Do you mostly use these spells on creatures? Then DL is probably best for you. Do you find yourself using them more on PWs, gods and artifacts? then BL is best.

I like Banishing Light 's versatility more than the other options. It might cost a bit more mana and be more vulnerable to removal, but it'll help you in nearly every game. Devouring Light is a good card too, but the attacking/blocking clause just makes it a lot more situational.
