What do you guys think about using Ratchet Bomb as a pseudo-sweeper for Grixis decks since they lack a "reliable" one?

well, for standard...

Mutilate Ratchet Bomb Cyclonic Rift AEtherize Mizzium Mortars Shrivel Profit / Loss

grixis is good at best removal. if you're met with gruul aggro, aetherize or Young Pyromancer

I've found that Grixis Control right now needs to rely on the Fuse cards (namely, Far / Away and Turn / Burn ) to get ahead on advantage, as sweepers nearly all revolve around White at this time.

That being said, Blasphemous Act is risky but powerful. Don't expect it to stop RDW and it's dead against Boros Reckoner (unless you can handle losing 13 life), but it's a Day of Judgment against mid-range decks and token decks, sometimes for less mana.

@10vernothin:

I had thought about using AEtherize in the sideboard vs RDW/Naya blitz. I guess I could follow that play up with a counterspell or a fused Far / Away the following turn
