Swift Reckoning or Celestial Flare

Hey, I was curious if I could get some feedback on what others prefer in a u/w control deck. I am looking at Swift Reckoning and comparing it to Celestial Flare as much as me and my friend would like to yell out "Celestial Flare" as we play it...I honestly think that swift reckoning is far more effective.

Is there anyone who can offer empirical data on the matter, or simply advice as which better fits in a control deck? Or perhaps the pros/cons of each?

Let your opponent choose is much worse than you having (a more limited) choice. Swift Reckoning ftw. Wait for BFZ before deciding.

Celestial Flare gets around hexproof and indestructible. So they both have their uses.

With Gods and Heroic disappearingsoon that statement is largely dependent on how BfZ shapes up.

Swift Reckoning is my pick as it's easier to cast and is better late game.

I would prefer swift reckoning but I wouldn't play either nor would I play U/W control in standard.

Whatcha do is you Mainboard Swift Reckoning, then substitute Celestial Flare for it post-sideboard, if necessary.

Mkay, in general I see Swift Reckoning taking it for the main part, but I also see a lot of wait because BFZ might bring something then cool.

Well thanks for the help! : 3 Here's to BFZ, I suppose!
