I've been seeing a lot of lists running Seeker of the Way , where as i've been playing a playset of Monastery Swiftspear . Does the lifelink push it over the haste and lower cost? I haven't tested seeker of the way, I kinda dismissed it a bit.

I agree with Nigeltastic that the bigger body is significant, but I do think lifelink is relevant, especially since rabble red and mono black agro will be decks to watch out for

Monsastary swiftspear isn't particularly strong outside of legacy. seeker is definitely better in standard.

If you want to be very aggro, play swiftspear. If you want to be more defensive and take back some life, play seeker. It depends how your deck plays. But yes, as the previous guys said, swiftspear is very strong in legacy, but not the same in standard.

Seeker is always better with the mana. Tapland into seeker is better the tapland into swiftspear.

Seeker is better in Jeskai Tempo nearly every time.

Seeker's lifelink seals the deal. A single Titan's Strength makes it into a 6/4 lifelink. That's some difficult creature to deal with.
Swiftspear is much better in other decks, like RDW, or in Legacy.

The lifelink isn't actually the big deal. The big deal is being able to kill Sylvan Caryatid with just 1 prowess trigger, and being able to kill Courser of Kruphix with just 2.
