Tamiyo for land destruction?

I'm thinking of a control deck for standard that combos with Tamiyo, the Moon Sage ultimate with Ghost Quarter to get repeated land destruction. Any suggestions to build this around? My first thought is R/B for recyclable burn and counterspell after the ultimate is in place, but right now I'm mainly thinking about best options for a control deck around Tamiyo, the Moon Sage and really like the Ghost Quarter angle. Suggestions/existing decks appreciated and thanks!

They do get to replace it but eventually they will run out of lands. If your deck is B/G with Omniscience you can use Bramblecrush to kill lands.

You also have the problem of getting Tamiyo's ultimate in place; having your strategy rely on planeswalker ultimates is perilous.

Bah! Forget the heathens! Half the fun of Magic, The Gathering is thinking up the goofy ideas, and the other half is making them work! Even if it isn't competitive, isn't it more fun to see that perfect combo play out just the once? I say go for it!

That's the spirit! I'd still suggest stall cards to make such goofiness a reality, such as plenty of counterspells and whatnot.

Well this wouldn't be the only win condition but it's a good point that the 2nd half of ghost quarter could hurt. However many decks I see are not playing any basic lands.
For sake of discussion, let's say we're running Tamiyo at 3-4x and ghost quarter at 2-4x. Let's also say the deck will be an aggro-control. I'm thinking Invisible Stalker at 4x and Silver-Inlaid Dagger at 2-3x. I also like Hands of Binding for the cipher at 2x. There should also be a large element if control. The question is then where to go from there...
Other colors? R/U, /B? R/W/U? Something else? B/U?
I'm leaning primarily blue with W/R 2ndary (bolas charm to protect from S verdict?)
Super friends with Jace and Mr. Bolas?
Thoughts?

Moved to Standard.
This probably isn't a great idea. Your opponent gets to replace the lands destroyed by Ghost Quarter , as per the second part of Ghost Quarter 's second ability. Just kill your opponent outright with repeated burn.
