The Replacements

There may or may not be a discussion about this yet, but with the new standard bannings, what are people seeking out as replacements for those 3 cards (if any) to continue to make their deck(s) work?

I know in Aetherworks Marvel they will probably go towards a more Ulamog centric deck, which still makes me want to barf. Ulamog can be almost just as hard to remove and the fact that a turn 4 Ulamog that can set you back a land for turn and your best threat (or only threat), is just disgusting, or if you don't have any threats on board, just set you back 2 turns on land drops, puuuuke.

As for Reflector Mage, I don't see any tempo creatures that might make the cut for the current decks. I could be missing something. Thoughts?

As for Smuggler's Copter, in vehicle based decks, I'm sure Heart of Kiran will fit the bit most of the time due to the creatures being able to crew it fairly easily and it works well with Gideon. But as for decks who don't care about the vehicle synergy such as B/G aggro, what replaces it? Sylvan Advocate? Or what about the decks that utilized Copter for its filtering effect such as the madness decks? Will they run Key to the City or Wharf Infiltrator?

What are people's takes on replacement cards to keep their decks afloat?

Well, playing Marvel deck since the very first day of Kaladesh, I can only suggest what I've been playing now.

Instead of Emrakul we can use the card I always had in sideboard - Elder Deep-Fiend. It can be hard-casted eot turn 4, enforcing opponent's counterspell that has been sandbaged for Marvel, it can stop fast aggro from kiling us before we get Marvel or the value, it's even big enough to present a serious threat itself.

Of course, Ulamog is the boss now (always been, if you ask me) and even before the bans I found single Kozilek, the Great Distortion a nice addition to the deck. You can very often end-up bare-handed, with your marvelled titan removed easily or countered. Kozilek is great card advantage after all the gimmigs we have to make to find Marvel, cast Marvel, charge Marvel, recharge Marvel, stay alive etc. What is more, it's the only one of the Timmy-gods that can effectively defend itself against most common threats (2-3 mana removal / exile).

In delirium, if you were more on the mindslaver effect, you can only try Distended Mindbender but it doesn't seem as efficient as Deep-Fiend.

I played 3 Reflector Mages, yes taking them out sucks, but it doesnt hurt my U/W flash/ control deck. I replaced the with a Bygone Bishop since i have a lot of instances and sorceries, a Aerial Responder which is pretty versatile, and 1 more Unsubstantiate for even more control. Yes i like reflector but im not butt hurt about it.

I have been playing U/W flash since SOI and have never included Copter or Reflector mage as I focused on spirit tribal.

After the bans I feel that the "meta" U/W flash decks will begin to lean more towards the tribal aspect as it provides more protection for its creatures and is still a fast, hard to beat deck (at least in my experience).
