Ok so if you've all seen the ridiculously overpowered cards in the spoilers so far, what do you think they'll do to standard? I predict Simic Flash (cancer) becoming huge with all the cards helping it, as well as Simic Ramp coming back into the spotlight too. What do you guys think?

I think that Theros will not impact standard very much. The options available so far can compliment existing strategies, but do not bring anything new to the table. I will list the very few I think will make it:

Ashiok, Nightmare Muse - top end of an esper control list.
Klothys, God of Destiny - 2-3 copies in gruul aggro.
The two titans - part of a tier 3 strategy with Lazav copying them for less. The UG titan might make it UG ramp lists.

Bronzehide Lion - the return of GW aggro?
Nadir Kraken - might make it in UG aggro decks.
Shadowspear - Green stompy decks enjoy the trample and lifelink to deal with cat oven strategies.

The best cards in the set for standard are the temples by a country mile.
