What is the biggest / highest level tournament in Standard format? Like, is there a WOTC Best-of-the-Best tourney? The Superbowl of Magic?

If I wanted to view the top decks in Standard, maybe watch some matches, where do I look?

mtgtop8.com has all the top decklists from recent tournaments. theres lots of places you can watch matches being played, youtube being one of them.

I've been to MTGtop8.com, I just wasn't sure how "official" or comprehensive that site is. I've watched some youtube stuff, but mostly FNM-type tourneys.

Watch Pro Tour, Magic world cup, Magic world championship, Grand Prixs

If you want to watch a stream then watch Star City Games invitational or something, SCG has streams every weekend and they're high quality.

Every Saturday, pretty much all day, there is a Standard tournament held by StarCityGames.com.

Worlds would be the highest level, while GPs and SCG events tend to be the largest

The best magic players play in the World Championships each August (this is the recent one), but it was Modern this year.

Pro Tours also work sometimes, but rotate formats.

"Worlds" is usually the be-all-end-all tournament, but Pro Tour tournaments are following right along behind (with many of the same "pro" players).

GPs are usually BIG, but anyone who shows up with $30 and 60 cards can play.

I'm trying to see what Golgari decks have paved the road, and seen names like Brian Kibler playing it here, but I'm always looking for more resources to reference at high levels.

Look for the World Cup, Pro Tour, and any Grand Prix
