Trait Doctoring has a place?

With all the devotion running around in standard and how it will pick up with the new multi-color gods- will Trait Doctoring become a sideboard card, possibly cast with Quicken to try and hold off green ramp devotion or the potential to have a god unactivated for a turn? It seems like it could help, if not just a very little, but it also seems a little bit of a waste of a card. Maybe a place for it in Heroic weenie decks.

Seems that a straight-up removal spell would be better in pretty much every situation.

If you're going to devote 8 cards in your deck to getting rid of gods in green decks, you may as well just splash green and run Unravel the Aether .

Note that Trait Doctoring + Quicken can do nothing against Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx , which is probably the biggest and best devotion related card in standard at the moment. So, it's highly unlikely.

There are about 10 different cards that would be better.

I used to run Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite in my sideboard in my BUG standard deck with no way to cast it.

Trait Doctoring would probably be just as useful in someone's sideboard

Why would you run it if you couldn't use it...?

Trait Doctoring has its place. In my collections of the most useless rares EVER.

I ran it because I liked looking at the art while playing
