I don't know if anyone else has noticed the interaction with Meandering Towershell + Whip of Erebos , but if I'm not mistaken. Whipping it in and attacking will still result with the full activation of it's effect. Because it returns from exile. The same goes for Obzedat, Ghost Council ?

I have been think about this interaction a lot the past few hours and I would like to see what anyone reading could come up with for a fun to play deck of 60. I'm thinking about building this for a friend who recently got into MTG, so I would appreciate any suggested decks to be under $80US

Thanx in advance!

I've been thinking about it in my Altar of the Brood deck, but it's just kinda slow. I might run a single Whip of Erebos , but I haven't tried it out yet.

@ ducttapedeckbox I run a singleton Whip in the Mardu deck I play, and I definitely suggest you try it out. I've found that as a one of. I never get stuck with one as a dead card, obviously. But the Lifelink across the board can really be a life saver/makings for en epic comeback when continually morphing and sacrificing Ashcloud Phoenix with the help of Tymaret, the Murder King . I don't know what your setup involves, but if you play creature spells. Whip is a solid one of for sure.

I run almost exclusively permanents in the deck to maximize the effectiveness of Altar of the Brood . Not sure where I could find room for a Whip though.

ducttapedeckbox Whip of Erebos is a permanent that brings other permanents back from the yard. Plus Lifelink for whatever mayhem you've played thus far.
