UG(BW) Self mill in Standard?

I've got a deck that has stupid good survivability in my casual playgroup and often wins against everything and I know the deck really well now, but my local game store meta is USA Control and Aristocrats. Do I have any chance? Is it worth the $5 buy-in just for the experience of a standard tourney?

The most fun I've ever had playing Magic <The decklist as it is sleeved, right now.

I think it's worth giving it a try. Since a lot of your meta is control, you might actually do pretty well against them simply because your deck is so different. Playing control requires a lot of knowledge of how your opponent's deck functions, and since yours is going to be unique for your meta, you can probably catch them by surprise. As far as playing against aristocrats goes, you'll probably have some trouble beating that, because Aristocrats is just a really solid deck and extremely difficult to play against if you don't have experience around it. (I've never beaten Aristocrats. Ever. lol. I've gone 1-2 against one once, but that's all the progress i've made. haha) I think the $5 buy in is worth it. Tournaments are a lot of fun and a fantastic learning experience whether you win or not. The buy in for my local place is $10, and i Think it's worth it. I ran my Selesnya's Horde (Current) 2 or 3 times there and did decently, then I ran my Naya Midrange for the first time a few days ago and went 2-2. Anyway, the moral of the story is, it's worth going for the fun and experience whether you do well or not, and who knows, you could actually end up doing really well and winning. haha.
