With a decent amount of cards spoiled and the fact that the dragonlords have 2 color broods and the 3 color clans are no more. Do you think the 2 color decks are gonna be consistent and stong enough to rise to the top, or is the raw power we got from 3 color cards like Siege Rhino gonna keep 3 color decks the norm?

I excited right now. I practically have new deck ideas every day because there are so many different cards I want to play with now and I'm excited to try out a lot of the new cards as well so anticipation is building and I can't wait to see all the new decks once DTK comes out.

I think the 2 color combos will just make the other shards really good. I feel like Jund is gonna be a really good deck. And Naya. So there are so many options that aren't going to be the khans. And I think two color clans are gonna be big.

I say 3 color. Abzan players like all the colors, hence Siege Rhino, and I can't imagine Mardu without Bloodsoaked Champion, Monastery Swiftspear, and Chained to the Rocks.

It will really depend on what people will want to do lol. I mean they gave jeskai temur and Mardu some nice stuff. They all have bombs and walkers that will do something. The real question is more will 2 color decks be powerful enough to go into the late game vs the 3 color ones?

Well personally I'm making Jund dragons, splashing blue for Sarkhan Unbroken. Rise of four color decks!

5C dragons go.

but seriously if I was going into standard I would force naya dragons whether it's good or not.

I've been on the 2 color bandwagon for a while mostly due to how much faster and less painful your mana is, but playing 3 colors is totally viable as well. The best two archetypes currently are Abzan and Boros, so there's proof right there that either approach can work.

I really wanna do some shard brewing (jund, naya, or bant). There's so many tools for 3-colored decks.
