I want to play creatures from my hand that get boosts from creatures in my Graveyard. For standard play FNM. example stuff like Splinterfright and Boneyard Wurm

I have been running a build like that in standard for FNM. Here it is if you want to take a look to get some ideas: Dead Marshes (Self-Mill).

Some other cards that I'm not using that are good are Dream Twist , card:Tracker's Instincts, and if you want to use black, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord , card:Jarad's Orders, and Grisly Salvage .

Using black is also more viable with all the Dimir mill coming with Gatecrash, however I think there is still plenty to use in G/U.

However, be sure to stock up on your counterspells and such to deal with graveyard hate. Rest in Peace is a b***h.

Kessig Cagebreakers is an amazing end-game card for a graveyard based deck.

Also as a sort of almost sort of counter for Rest in Peace , card:Memory's Journey could help to salvage your grave if things go wrong.

Counter-spells are your best bet.

Negate , Syncopate , and Dissipate would be your best bets.

If you're specifically looking to counter Rest in Peace , then it does nothing for you. Otherwise, it's a good counter against creature-heavy decks, such as Selesnya and Boros

Yeah, I use Syncopate in my build, with Negate in the sideboard.

Also, Witchbane Orb is a good card to sideboard against card:Tormod's Crypt and Rakdos Charm , as well as general direct burn.

Essence Scatter is for creatures only.

Also, rather than card:Memory's Journey as Rewdog said, I would suggest a sideboarded Psychic Spiral . It can save your cards from Rest in Peace (kinda), and can provide an alternate win condition. It's especially fun against mill decks. You could also use some enchantment removal, such as Acidic Slime or Naturalize , to deal with Rest in Peace should it hit the field.

oh so Witchbane Orb works against those because they target a player's graveyard instead of all graveyards like Rest in Peace ? I see what you mean about Psychic Spiral however its a higher mana cost. But wouldn't the "Enter the Battlefield" ability trigger ever if you cast Psychic Spiral ?

If you play it "On the stack", it will return all the cards to your library before Rest in Peace hits the battlefield.
