Which decks should I run at the Grand Prix?

So I plan on going to a standard GP right after m14 releases, I was wondering which decks are most likely to do well?

How about make a deck and try to innovate instead of copying an old archetype with new cards?

Well seeing as that's pretty hard to do in standard. Innovation isn't hard, but coming up with an entirely new deck, especially one that does very well is very tough. And nothing was said about copying old archtypes, I want to do very well at this GP so I want to know what the best choices could be.

Depending on how soon after, if there's not enough time to test, expect to see a lot of the same decks as you do now with minor splashes of M14 in their 75. Aggro decks tend to be the most transformative shortly after the inclusion of new cards to the pool, as they have the easiest time discerning a better card in the slot. But for the most part you can run what's good now.
One deck I would expect to see in full force though is Bant Hexproof, so have a good side board plan for that. With 2 new hexproof creatures coming in M14, the deck just got way more consistent.

build a control deck with AEtherling Supreme Verdict Sphinx's Revelation and splash red, black or green depending on what you like and you have the start of a good control deck. the reason i say this is m14 is bring back Ratchet Bomb so advent of the wurm is going to be bad. go control

I was thinking of running G/B midrange with Deathrite Shaman and Scavenging Ooze .

I did not mean any offense if any was taken mr. panda, I was saying that it is a brand new standard and there are a lot of potential new decks, Aristocrats is getting a fun toy but also Hexproof Voltron gets a fun toy as well, but new decks could be brewing and the chances are most players will be conservative and not go to far into uncharted territory when building decks, but those who gamble may find great success. I would say that America, Naya and Jund are the strongest archetypes to build around

I honestly think a mono green stompy could do really really well

I would say Jund Midrange, it gets both Scavenging Ooze and Doom Blade , and is already a Tier 1 deck. Junk Rites seems worse with Ooze in the format, so probably not it.

I feel like Junk Aristocrats is going to be very strong. Voice of Resurgence is just format warping, and the G/W/B shell that surrounds it is just so ridiculously durable. Young Wolf and Doomed Traveler provide an excellent buffer against fast-paced, aggressive decks and both can trade favourably with a lot of common openers... twice. Cartel Aristocrat is incredibly durable, providing you with a wall, unblockable creature and pseudo-hexproof threat whenever you need, and she interacts with the deck's other 1-2 drops in amazing ways. Varolz, the Scar-Striped makes that same threat incredibly relevant. Throw this all together with Skirsdag High Priest and the deck just generates an absurd amount of relevant, durable threats.
It also gets access to Scavenging Ooze and Doom Blade , while dealing with both excellently. It has access to Deathrite Shaman and can use all his modes, and it has some of the best Planeswalkers in format at its finger tips. It can play Liliana of the Veil excellently, as well as Sorin, Lord of Innistrad to produce an astounding amount of bodies, and make those bodies relevant.
If I were pinning my hopes on a deck, disregarding price and accessibility, Junk Aristocrats would be it.

Yeah, Junk Aristocrats, maybe with the 2B 2/2 human that gives you Zombies whenever one of your humans dies. It seems SO good with Cartel and Doomed Traveler .

I think i'm going to tinker with evolve a bit longer and see where it gets me, who knows it might be a lot of fun to play later on. :)

There'll be some people playing around with slivers, but I think the meta will still revolve primarily around the decks utilizing Voice of Resurgence and Advent of the Wurm . I believe that because of this, there will also be a lot more removal - namely exile removal such as Oblivion Ring or Pillar of Flame . This also puts an indirect damper on Undying decks.
