Which wall is best in the format?

I'm considering putting a few walls in my esper sideboard for no real reason other than to annoy RDW.
I was thinking Hover Barrier would be best, since it is by no means mana intensive, can block Chandra's Phoenix , and still doesn't die to a Lightning Strike post block. Thoughts?

Personally, I like Angelic Wall as a turn 2 play, but if you're going for long term, Wall of Frost or Wall of Swords would be my best bets.

Hover Barrier Has my Vote for Best current Wall, unless we're talking about Axebane Guardian or Sylvan Caryatid for building ramp for a defender deck.

Supreme Verdict takes care of creature-based strategies pretty well...
If Stormbreath Dragon has you scared, sideboard copies of Doom Blade or even Celestial Flare .

Not a wall but a great early blocker Yoked Ox has help me fend off aggro before when I am playing control.
If only Wall of Denial was still legal....

jfriday09: Hover Barrier is the only 3-drop flyer in Standard with 6 toughness. As suggested by NobodyPicksBulbasaur, you may have to use a different strategy to counter your opponent's Stormbreath Dragon

Yeah I mean there are obvious answers to the dragon in which I have plenty of. I'm just trying to think of a decent wall that is overall nice to prevent a chunk of damage from a RDW deck.

without flying, the only other 3-drop walls with 6+ toughness are Guardians of Meletis and Wall of Frost

Returned Phalanx is the best wall against aggro. It can't block flying and dies to Lightning Strike , but it only costs two mana and it actually kills the creatures it blocks, rather than simply Fog ging them.

Idk, for a control deck, I'd rather run Wall of Swords then, and use Azorius Charm or some other removal on turn two.

things to consider -- Wall of Swords is a 4-drop. you're not running green with mana ramps. then again, it's a control deck. but would you really want to hold on to extra cards just to 'protect' your Wall? but ultimately, it will depend on your deck and playstyle. HTH
