A chat room!
TappedOut forum

I think it would be neat to be able to have a chat room for tappedout. We have seen how popular the "Introduce yourself" forum has been, and it has led to some interesting discussions, as well as people just getting to know each other better. I feel it would be a positive to have access to chat with other tappedout members while doing anything, as is common on many websites. Simply having one community chat room, or to be able to have specific ones (Legacy, Q&A/Ask a Judge, Standard, Modern, Limited, etc.) I don't know if this is a possibility, but I feel it could help make this a stronger community.

Why thank you! I've noticed that there are a lot of awesome people here, so I wanted to get to know all of you better. :D

I think the only one we have now is in the draft sim room. Unless I'm crazy and/or blind.

A few people on here use the mtgsalvation chat room. I would argue the irc.globalgamers.net would be the best place for it, just cause of the mtgs chat there. Then there could be an emedded irc client from mibbit added to the site. Even if it's not on globalgammers, irc is probably the best protocol for it.

I don't know about "theme" chat rooms (that's what the forum is for), but a general chat is fine. We actually had one at one point, and you might find it if you dig through some old threads. I had it bookmarked on another computer, but that rig isn't available to me right now.

There's a freenode link a couple posts down. You can use that to get into the chat without downloading another program.

@Pyromancer999: This thread is almost a year and a half old, and your comment isn't even remotely close to being on topic. Please read before you post.

That's a good idea! If the forum posts could be upvoted, i would give an upvote here.
