Am I competitive?

I see that some people have on their deck lists the percentage of how competitive their deck is. Is that a feature for upgraded accounts or is it something you can just add?
It's also an extremely suspect system--take it with a grain of salt. To provide some examples:
-
You can make a deck comprised entirely of fantastic cards, with no lands and no other ability to play the cards. It can get rated 100%.
-
I've seen a deck rated 76%, then, simultaneously, a foil version of the exact same deck being 88%.
-
A deck with 240 cards (4 of which are the unplayable Battle of Wits) being rated 100%.
That's not to say it doesn't have some use--it will give you a general idea as to whether you can optimize more, but it should not be taken as the end-all-be-all of competitive viability.

When I first joined I was intrigued by it, but then found quickly that it’s preeeeeetty worthless tbh. And for the aforementioned reason: when something with no mana can be rated "100% competative" that's not good lol

hmm ... there should be other aspects of comp decks. A fluid mana curve, how similar decks look like to mtgtop8 decks, and how well the deck's spells/lands portion of the mana pie lines up.

But I do agree that it is not all accurate. I don't trust the competitive bar fully but I just use it to look at a deck just to see about how "good" the deck is based on what the website says. But all in all if I need help I use the help forums.

It’s an option you can select while editing the decklist.
