Anyway to cancel a trade?

Hey Epoch/Yeago, so is there anyway to cancel a pending trade? I've have a few now where the person on the other end just stopped responding or hasnt signed into tappedout in months while we were discussing a pending trade. Can I get those deleted off my binder page?
Usually to get locked in trades deleted both users have to message Epoch saying they want the trade cancelled/deleted. With these cases where one user has gone inactive, I don't see them being able to do anything since the other person can not verify that they want the trade cancelled, regardless of when they went inactive

i think its fair to just scrub trades that have been open 60 days automatically

That does sound great, but there are certain members that have scammed people over time. Those trades should be left open in the case of a mass delete of open trades as a reminder. This will ultimately make it more difficult for you.
With that in mind we should have some sticky threads in the trading area to post user that have scammed members over time before mass deleting old trades. That could help future trade scams from that particular username.
Also, is there a way to restrict a user's use of the trading area after they meet the requirements to post a binder? Basically is there a way to police trading on the site? If there is or a way one could be implemented, I fully support it, and would be willing to lend a hand.
On a side note, I believe a mod or users should to come up a basic guide/tips for trading on tappedout for new traders to read ((sticky thread) I'm not the greatest of writers or else i would've done it already). That along with another sticky thread on how to file for mail fraud in case of an incident would help discourage and limit users trying to exploit others.

addaff I think the user should be held accountable for making the scam public -- i.e. posting it in the info on their trade binder. I personally hate having trades open longer than 60 days, because I usually get asked about them when attempting to make more trades.
A good rule would be, if you've been scammed or the trade was not upheld, you should post the information on your binder for public information.
I wouldn't mind having a T/O guide to trading either as well as a thread where scammers can be identified.

That is why i have a list of incomplete trades in my binder. So people can see what the issue was and why its still there.
What do you think about a thread that shows you how to file for mail fraud? It would help discourage people that are attempting to scam others.

addaff More readily information is never a bad thing. Mail Fraud is a difficult thing to conquer though. I would agree with a sticky Trade Thread about that stuff though.
