Are land prices added to the total deck cost?

I'm kinda new here, but I was wondering if when a deck shows its price, is the land from the deck included in that price? Or does it simply consider it "free" even when it shows a price if scrolled over?

Now I don't know for certain, but I believe so. The deck pricings add in costs of non-basic lands, where Mishra's Workshop is near 1k. That is the extreme example. So I don't see why not if someone runs 30 basic lands for 5 cents each, then $1.50 would be added to the deck cost.

It's pretty easy to test this; just create a deck with only basic lands and see if the deck has a price. The answer appears to be no.

Non-basic lands are definitely included in the price, but I assume you just meant basics.
