Automatically sending me to comments

TappedOut forum

Every time I click on a new deck (mine or someone else's) I am automatically dropped to the bottom of the page with my cursor blinking in the comment section. I have to scroll up each time to see the decklist which gets tedious.

Does anyone know how I can stop it from doing this? Thanks!

you don't want to comment?

Well this was an update done pretty recently so that people wouldn't have to scroll through 40 comments in threads, but I agree that it isn't very convenient in decks. I don't believe that there is a way to change it. Yeago?

EDIT: Got ninja'd by the man himself XD

Thanks for the quick replies! I certainly comment when I feel I have something relevant to say. However, when I am editing my own decks it gets frustrating. Any suggestions?

Maybe adding a "Back to Top" button below the comment box could be useful?

or maybe leave a helpful comment?

(I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing...)

Anyhow, thanks man :)

I agree with ljs that an option would be great. What about a button at the top of the page that one could click to scroll to the bottom of comments without forcing them to do so?

Except, if I'm on a deck/thread for the first time, I can't leave anything constructive or helpful without having already looked over the topic I'm to be commenting on. I can start commenting blind when I get sent straight to the comment box, but those comments will likely be neither constructive nor helpful nor will they contribute to the topic in any way.

Maybe that's his way of saying something along the lines of that suggestion was already in the works?
