Okay, I'm sure this is going to be painfully obvious once somebody points it out to me, but I've been staring and staring and I can't figure it out.
How do I use the Block Constructed format in the deck builder without getting the "Block Constructed Set needed if the deck's format is Block Constructed" error message? I don't see any way to enter the set.

Do I need to make sure every single card is specifies to be within the same block or something? How do I go about fixing this?

Whenever you're building a block constructed deck, I recommend just filtering Gatherer for your colors and choosing the block under "format." When you're building here, it's easy enough to just set to Legacy or Modern, depending upon which block you're building.
You have to check for illegal cards, technically, but A) the list is small enough for each block that it's pretty easy to scan for them and B) Block Constructed doesn't seem to be an officially supported format anymore (which may be why it's not on the high priority list for bug-fixes), so whoever you're playing with probably isn't going to care about illegal cards.

Makes sense. I'll just call it block constructed in the description and modern in the format field. Its unfortunate, because Block Constructed is literally all I do. I love tribal and theme decks so much. Small issue though.

Yeah, I wish it hadn't basically gone extinct. I find it a really fun way to learn in digestible pieces. Still, as far as deck-building goes, putting in the description is realistically all you really need.
