Bot AI

I've noticed while drafting that the bots seem to draft randomly in cube drafts. Is there any way to improve the AI for the bots?

running your cube draft with friends will improve bot scores. =)

Cool. Does that mean that the bots choices are purely based on how high cards are chosen in cube drafts?

I've got another question. Using shards of alara as an example, arcane sanctum has a rating of 1.00, and ajani vengeant has a rating of 2.20. Since a lot of people play with bots, lets say during a draft, both of these cards come in the same pack. The bot will take the arcane sanctum, then passes me the ajani vengeant, which I happily take. Will this add another 2.00 to Ajani's composite score? And if so, would it make sense to weight drafts with all human players heavier to offset cards getting further weighted "incorrectly" this way?

Yeah, and this is the reason I don't include solo drafts. Its true, bots will lead to this but the statistics even out if you only use live drafts.

yea the bots are dumb. just did one where a bot took a different colored card each pick and the other one was taking nothing but bad cards over playables.

guess it didnt happen then, but I suppose you could look at the ranking system where it has card:Whitesun's Passage as a pick over Arrest and the like. also, this wasn't in a cube but a MSS draft if that matters.

Sorry, not seeing the situation you describe.

I'm pretty sure the ranks are generated by user picks during live drafts, and the website tracks cards by where they were picked in drafts and once enough data is compiled it can generated information for bots to use during solo drafts.

So if a card is ranked a high pick it's kind of our own fault as a community!

Haha
