can't export to common format

I can't figure out how to export my inventory to other formats. I have taken the time to add all my cards to this site, but now I can't use them on others (e.g. mtggoldfish.com). Am I missing something, or has tappedout chosen a format that is non-transferable (I assume intentionally, if that is the case).

I know you can export directly to txt -- that's just

[quantity]x [card name].

almost every shared format requires set name in addition.

It also depends on what the site you're importing in to as well. Different sites use different formats.

I wrote a python script to scrape it using their (not well exposed) api. I will probably publish it to github at some point so the next angry soul can get by their otherwise silly policy

It's not really anyone's policy and no one is out to get you, it's just that different websites use different formats, since there isn't a standard format for Magic text files.
