how can i chose what kind of cards i have linked? i saw people using zendikar full art lands and Counterspell from different editions.. how do i do that lol?
Not all cards from all sets are in the database, just so you are aware. Even if you want Homelands Merchant Scroll, you're not going to get it.

The only ones that might not be in the database are the premium sets like dragons vs. something and promo cards. All regular sets are added

in the deck, you specify which set it is by using the 3 letter symbol for it (i.e. ISD, AVR, MBS etc.)
A listing would look like this in a deck:
1x Island
You add on the three letter symbol for Zendikar:
1x Island
[ZEN]
On your deck, you'll get the ZEN lands, or you can get unhinged also. [UNH]
