"casual" meter shows up for all my edh decks but not for my friend's.

Is there something specific that needs to be done to get this to show up?
"regen charts" doesn't appear on the deck page or the deck edit page.
The deck owner was showing me the deck on his phone. He was logged in at the time. The scale was not visible.

now they're all showing up as 100% competitive.
figured out something interesting, though. If I create a deck, the meter doesn't show. If I set the deck as a prototype, it shows. If I uncheck prototype, the meter still shows. :-?

The competitive meter is hilariously random - my 5k deck comes up as casual lolz

Rabid_Wombat Are you sure it is showing casual is it more blue or orange? Looking at the list I think you are referring to the algorithm we believe is being used based on the info we have would likely rate that deck very competitive.

Money does not equate to competitiveness. A lot of casual players spend thousands foiling out their Zedruu group hug lists, but that doesn't make those lists competitive.
The meter, however, is not consistently accurate. Also, there have been several other people posting about this; it would've been easier to not duplicate their threads.

buildingadeck "Money does not equate to competitiveness." Ummm- this is MTG bro...not UNO. "A lot of casual players spend thousands foiling out their group hug lists." Anyone who is spending thousands on this card game is not a "casual" player...and if you know of anyone who is doing in order to foil out a group hug list please refer them to your nearest mental health clinic.
Oloro_Magic Thanks for the response and yes, it must be the algorithm at fault as the list you are referring to is not even showing as halfway competitive.

So competitive edh decks seek to win the game between turns 1-4, or to establish control/stax stabilization within that time frame. People play $1k+ Atraxa superfriends lists that are 75% decks and would never do well in competitive pods. EDH is a format in which people do, in fact, spend exorbitant amounts of money on non-competitive lists.

Press "regen charts" but it should only be visible for the deck owner(s) unless you have "competitive" as a hub IIRC.
