Custom Category Override

I don't know if I'm the only one but I actually find custom categories less helpful than just sorting by card type.

It would be really helpful if in the settings tab there was an "override custom categories" checkbox which when a deck page loads sorts the deck by type even if the deck owner has set up custom categories.

Don't know if I'm just being picky now though...

You can always manually sort a decklist by whatever metric you like. I don't know if it's productive to choose to always override custom categories.

Besides, you can use the quality of the custom categorization to gauge whether it's worth your time to comment. Or whether it should be pointed out to the other person that the categories need work.

I'm in the same boat as enpc, but it's not really that big of a deal. It can be interesting at times to see how people categorize stuff, but overall it's easier to just see the entire deck the "standard" way.

Epochalyptik: this is true, but half the time its the decks that are badly layed out that need the most help and then I can tell that by their decklist :P

You can change custom categories on decks anyway. There's a drop down menu that lets you sort by type / cmc etc. This is essentially already a thing.
