Decks Flickering on the Top List

So over the past two days I've noticed that my burn deck will sometimes go from the top ten on the top list, to not even there. It's like whenever somebody comments on it or gives it a plus, it immediately gets placed in the top ten somewhere. Then, if I wait an hour, it's not even on the top deck list anywhere. The process has been repeating for a couple days now.
Is there an issue, or is the top list really that sensitive?

what list were you talking about Femme_Fatale?
InnerFlame well there's a lot of decks on the site so yeah I guess it is somewhat sensitive. So other decks get more votes and are pushing yours down, while others are expiring out of the list and bringing yours up. maybe?

The number you should be looking at is the "Top rank" row in the table info on your deck's page. You may see its gradually walking its way up.

The top rank list on the front page is definitely not an indicator of the top decks. I had my deck only be top 75 around on occasion and it still appeared on there.

yeaGO: Thanks for the response. You guys do a great job at responding back and interacting with the community. I was referring to the top list not the top rank. I was just really surprised to see it go from not on there to somewhere within the top ten shown on the list, and then have it go off and on so fluidly. I noticed when my decks have been on it before they will gradually make their way up the list instea dof just appearing there and then instantly disappearing once they fell out of traffic. It just surprised me to see how it would appear so high so quickly so many times. I guess the site is just getting a lot more traffic these days. Thanks a lot.

i am looking at the top one now Iona... On turn 3? and it is strange it says #2 for top rank on the deck page.
And the last one says #32 even though there aren't 32 places. So yeah sounds like a bug.

I actually prefer it this way. It means that the lesser ranked decks can get some publicity. Otherwise the top list will just be filled with the same joke/jank deck for the entire site's existence.

I think that's a very important consideration and its one to keep an eye on. But I'd rather do it in some intentional way because this was just kinda outright a weird bug and I would be afraid that plenty of decks that aren't joke or jank aren't being seen currently.
Fixed it. Let's keep an eye on it.

Okay so I fixed it and the list on the front page actually doesn't change. However, the decks do get stamped properly with their (higher!!) rank. So therefore, all this was doing was causing actually popular decks to not reflect their actual rank back on the deck's page.
So have some confidence in the top list because it actually isn't all junk and jank and never was. =)
My Burning Crush On Taylor Swiftspear now properly registers as the #10 deck on the site.

nice my Shu Yun EDH deck shot up about 20 spots. now if only people would actually give me suggestions instead of asking if Shu Yun can be a Jeskai commander. RAGE

I got tonnes of suggetions for my blink build. I daresay it is perfected. At least for this meta. I might make a few changes here and there but for the most part I'm liking where it stands right now.

The top list is definitely not an indicator of the top decks on T/O. It is more an indicator of popular decks that receive a lot of traffic.
