I have been using this site for 7ish years and I have as far as I knew always been a deckling. I was looking today and saw that I am now a deckspert. First of all, thank you tappedout for realizing my deckspertise. I honestly am honored.
I am mostly wondering what the criteria were for the change and if there are any other titles to attain.
I believe it’s related to achieving a top 100 ranking in T/O as well as Helper. You should also be able to rename yourself to whatever title you want now.

Check under your profile settings to see if you have an editable box for Rank Title - that is where you can change your title to whatever you like.

It isn't giving me the option. I would also like to figure out how to customize my username. Not just color the individual letters, but to have something like a shadow color behind the letters similar to what magicalhacker has

Customizing your user name is a feature available only to upgraded users, which requires a one time minimum donation of $5 via the first option of this page.

FancyTuesday I am upgraded, but there are some users that have what appears to be a colored shadow behind their names like yours appears to have, but it was only giving me the option to color each individual letter like Azdranax has. Would that potentially be because I am on my phone that it doesn't give me the option?

luther you have to use code to add drop shadow effects and other font options, but those are unrelated to your chosen title.

Congrats, friend! I'm pretty sure the criteria aren't related to rank, because I've been top 10 in rank/helper rank and am still a Deckling. I'm guessing it relates to number of active years?
To edit your letters on that level, I think you have to go pretty deep into T/O's syntax guide. Good luck!

Yeah, they are unrelated things that I want to do to celebrate becoming a deckspert

rorofat made a pretty nifty username customization tool that can be found here. You can mess around with the text shadow feature to make the shadow effects.

Once you edit the the code where do you paste it in?

You treat the big long code sections no different from the colour codes--you go to the username customization screen and copy-and-paste the entire line of code into the block for that particular letter.

I believe it has something to do with your “helper rank.” Though I am not 100% sure on this.
Congratulations on the promotion to deckspert! Thanks for all your help and guidance in the community!
