Deckspert Tag

TappedOut forum

I've noticed more people around with the Deckspert tag on their name lately. I'm aware people in the top 100 get to customize, but what is the threshold for the Deckspert Tag? Just curious.

I could be mistaken, but I believe it is when you have given 30+ good card suggestions

Thanks, that'd make sense, since I've seen people with all kinds of different ranks with the tag.

It's top 500, or anyone that has ever been in the top 500 people, many of the older users were in the top 500 at one point a few years ago, so they have that tag, but are no longer in it.

If I am right Epochalyptik, could you say so? I am also curious if I am right on this.

March 29, 2015 8:50 p.m.

Nope.

Is it not obvious? It is clear that your rank is based on how many goat you have sacrificed!

March 29, 2015 9:40 p.m.

Also, LioAME3 that can't be true because i have 25 good card suggestions but am a deckspert...

ShamaLamaDingDong hmmm...well that is what I saw in the other forum. Maybe you are onto something with the goat sacrificing thing? runs away to get goat sacrificing kit

I just checked my title and sure enough, I am a deckspert. And I didn't even know. I'm starting to think Kryzis is right as I just reached top 500. I have only a few good card suggestions so that can't be it.

March 30, 2015 12:42 a.m.

I gave my opinion on it in the first of these series of threads, and assume I'm right, because that's just the natural way of things.

I just searched "Deckspert" in the search bar.

No results found. Try again!

vampirelazarus or someone else: Help!

I found a few other threads about changing your title when you hit top 100 but nothing about being a Deckspert before top 100.

@SimicPower I have never been in the top 500 though and I have deckspert...looks like we've got a mystery on our hands

Maybe it's top 750 or 700 instead of 500?

I became a deckspert the day I became a premium member. Coincidence?

jraynor: yes.

Proof: I just made top 750 two days ago, and had my tag changed from Deckling to Deckspert, the top 750 have it (I am now 736).

Epochalyptik I feel like this isn't something that should be kept hidden on this site, something that differentiates different levels of players should be common knowledge, if you wouldn't mind telling us. I am stumped at this point, does it involve the number of decks added, TO rank, good card suggestions, or a some combination of them?

April 7, 2015 6:44 p.m.

The ranks don't mean anything, anyway. Be content with the title and the mystery.

Honestly, with something that's as, well, cosmetic as your nametag, I kinda like the mystery. Maybe Epoch just goes around making people he likes decksperts.

Hahaha watch that actually be true :)

Everyone, it's simple: Tappedout hacks into your computer's camera, takes a picture of you, and sends it back to the admins to be judged on a scale of 1 to 10 on physical attractiveness. If you're rating is more than 6, you are upgraded to Deckspert. (Citation needed)

What destroys an in-destrucable creature? How can he die?

April 7, 2015 10:37 p.m.

bsian says... #29

@SimicPower Citation: I have a Slippery Bogle hanging in front of my computer camera. I am not a deckspert.

@ColinPhetteplace you really should make a rules Q&A thread for this, but indestructible creatures can still be exiled with a card like Utter End and its toughness can be reduced to or below 0 with cards like Bile Blight.
