This thread shall be where I post my announcements of which cards I have added to the database as Fate Reforged gets revealed.

We shall start of with the first card spoiled through the WotC archives right on Christmas Day:

Just want to let you know that you should check out the comments on the final pages of my tutorial. It shows there how to put in proper symbols like or +5. Don't forget about the additional colours of a card as well, the ones that appear in the text box.

Also, thanks yeaGO for listening to my suggestion on moving the rarity to printing only.

yeaGO, I'm missing a lot of privileges all of the sudden. I can no longer add or remove cards manually from the admin database (like if a user names a card wrong), I can no longer change super or sub types if users incorrectly puts them in the wrong spot, and I can no longer add sets to the database should they be announced.

when EDH cards started going missing i removed everyone's delete privs until we can round up about how to avoid that. there is an interstitial screen that says 'hey are you sure you want to remove this, it will remove these other things' and it should have warned whoever nuked those cards.

i made some changes last night maybe i can bump cache back down tonight to a few hours.

@minsc i can throw you some tokens. i didn't mind it when i was the only one doing submission accepting and the last few sets have been pretty late so a lot of the cards came in from an import i did anyhow.

About the deleting stuff: make sure you don't delete anything without checking with yeaGO (or me) first. Otherwise we end up with a ripple effect that screws a bunch of other stuff.

Autonomy is fine if everyone knows what they're doing, but the hidden stuff has been tripping people up recently.

Well, there is an incorrect card name in the form of Cunning Striike. I have the proper name in. I also want the printing of lands in the Dragons of Tarkir and DD Elspeth vs Kiora removed because the images for them aren't actually available yet.

I also want to know if anyone else is having issues with gyazo. I can't take any screenshots as it just starts up iexplorer, and I can't contact them as it gives me a 500 error.

I also want to mention that the mass C13 image disappearance could not have been caused by my removing of the improperly placed super-types in the sub-types section. I, being that I had just gotten back from my hiatus, had forgotten to check the cards that were mentioned in the error message. However, I know that I had checked them before, and I had removed improperly placed supertypes from the subtypes section numerous times since C13 was added. It does not make sense for the C13 cards to put in their incorrect type placements into the database after a good year and a half or so since they've been added.

Hate to harp on this, but added 19 cards the other day. May I have the tokens for it, and is token reward for adding cards no longer a thing? Thank you :)

We removed the feature token thing a long while ago. Didn't like how it was giving people an incentive to just post anything in the card submission forms. We still get people who put inappropriate stuff down, but I think not as much as what it used to be.

@MinscAndBoo: I can integrate that into the proposal. It wouldn't hurt to offer incentives if we have direct control over who can actually submit entries.

Well, I don't count myself among the abusers of said incentive. I've been submitting a few dozen cards each set for a while now, and getting tokens in exchange. It couldn't have been that long ago that the process changed, though I missed a few sets last year. Thanks for proposing that we put this back. If someone submits crap, just reject it :-/

The thing is, we can't actually see what they submit. That's why we are having problems. I have to go and ask each individual person and ask to see a copy of their image.

I did mention that we're planning a restructuring of the system that will likely involve privs being limited to a handful of reliable people.

I got it, it takes me about 3 minutes to crop the image, save the image under my file system, and add the card to the database.
