I just want simple black block text with a royal blue shadow behind it. Can someone please help a brother out.
The code I think might be what your looking for is #050417; text-shadow: #1C1889 10px 0px 7px; font-family: BadaBoom BB;

You'd have the color of your name, then the color of the shadow and its position. So something like
color; text-shadow: #color ?px ?px ?px
The first color can be in hexadecimal or any universally accepted names (blue, black, red, etc.) and the second color has to be in hexadecimal iirc. The next three numerical values are up to you.The first part of my name is: blue; text-shadow: #ffffff 0px 0px 30px

Ok I've done that. Now how do I get it to show up in forums and such? Deckology or do I not see my name formatted?

You basically have to fill in the blanks and mess around with it until you find what you like.

So, I know this is a necro, but I did not want to start a new thread. Plus everyone that can help might be notified.
I tried using vault's code to format my name, and had a couple questions on how to finish this up. Hope you don't mind. I was trying to alter the colors, and was not very successful.
This is what I was trying to use
DCC8A1;text-shadow:#000080 0px 0px 10px; font-family:algerian; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;
The issues I am having are DCC8A1 is the color I want my letters, and they are showing up white. Also, my test post on my profile is just a blue name. Not the formated one.
Does anyone mind giving me a tip for what I am doing wrong?

Do hashtag (#) 000000 and that should give you black text, I have no idea how to do shadows though.
