You know that little icon in the top-right that looks like a person? It turned gold recently, and I'm just wondering what it means.. When I click on it, the "Upgrade" is in gold too, but nothing else.
So, could someone explain what it means, or why it happened? It just seems odd to just happen out of nowhere like that
Okay, That's sorta what I figured.. I didnt want to assume that though
Thank you

I've also noticed my Deckster title turned grey like an rpg's junk loot, it's good to see them more openly showing what they think of people not directly handing them money.

Demarge They being like one person :) Anyways it's not much - it's effectively 2 bucks once you add in the 3 feature tokens you get...

Demarge your title looks like the exact same color mine is.

Yeah everybody's title is that color (unless changed with CSS).

really in the 4+ years I've been on here I've never really seen a point in having more deck cycles and usually the great reward for farming up those upvotes was to get the deck's comment section almost unreadable. Really the site was a little under-planned at the start, if it's playtester was the upgrade add-in I likely would have upgraded a long time ago. Simply giving users the power to make their username unreadable with heavy glows or a text color so red the letters melt together really isn't worth it. Even just cutting the power to make posts somewhere other than the rules questions would likely have many flocking to upgrade.

Those are some ridiculous reasons. Personally, I find the value in upgrading immense. Not only do I get to support my favorite site, but I get some real bonuses as well. T/O is, at it's core, a free social networking site, and it seems like you're trying to take that away unless you pay - P2W social networking is bad. Pay to support a good thing is good. Heck, it's better than just asking for donations.

There was a thread on this a while ago but it's basically the creator of the sit subtly advertising upgrades.
