Help: People can't message/pm me

For some reason users, not even my friends, can send me chats/pms/messages. I've tried to talk to people about trades and stuff, but only I can send them chats. Qolorful already tried looking at this but we didn't really get anywhere. When someone tries to send me a chat, they can't even click the button. Trade chats do work, however.
Does this have something to do with my privacy settings, or a bug on my account? I don't really want to get a new account cause I have a good deck or two on here. Hoping to find some answers. Thanks.
