How are decks scored in advanced search?

While I was looking to see how my lovely control deck ranked in the competitive control decks with the advanced search, I noticed a complete absence of mine own. I tried narrowing the search down to Four Colour control, which is one the hubs, and it was not there.
While that is another issue, I would like to know how decks are ranked when you choose 'Score' and 'Descending'. There are many decks which have a low upvote count, but many views, and comments. Other decks have about 25 points, no comments, 3000 views, and are still ranked higher than a deck with 110 points, and 30 comments. At the moment, it seems like a convoluted algorithm is in place, which does not provide an accurate order.

"Score" is consisted more of just points. It also consists of comments too, and I think a LITTLE bit on views.
And the search function has always been botched, nothing that can really be done about it.

It has gotten a lot worse in the past couple of days. It is impossible to search for the highest ranked decks anymore, as some seem to have completely disappeared from the search database.
Mikaeus, Extreme Sub $20 Budget EDH is one of the most popular decks on the site, yet it fails to show up when looking at any descending order of decks that it could possibly fit in.
My deck The Slimy Druid of Death has also disappeared from the database. It was me trying to look at where it stood among the rankings of The Mimeoplasm decks, but it and another higher scored Mimeo deck, I Bet Your Commander Doesn't Have A Dinosaur... won't show up either.
yeaGO this really needs to get fixed. The last update screwed up something big in the searching.

yeah, sorry about that. its a known issue and we will try to have it wrapped up this week.
saving your decks should add them back to the index.

There's something wrong with Search. It hasn't updated in quite some time.
