How long do I have to wait for updates to my username?

Hey guys! I was recently gifted an updated account, and I just have a couple of observations that led to a couple of questions.

When I updated my "title", it changed right away.

When I changed my username, it changed gradually. First on my page, then the name of the page, then the link to my page, then pretty much everywhere on the site.

I customized my username like a day ago, I believe, and my name is still blue.

So the following questions are running through my mind:

1. Why is there a delay with certain changes?

2. How long is the delay?

3. Are there any tips/tricks for these delays?

4. Is this normal?

Most of the time, there's a delay of about 3-4 hours when you change your colors. If it's still blue by the end of the day, use the contact form.

The databases are updated periodically. I've changed my username and been able to see it the second I've changed it while other times it would take a few hours.

You should have definetly done it by now, mine only took a few seconds. Maybe you aren't doing it correctly. What code are you using to alter your name?

When it goes to the customize username section, I just put in the html code for the color:

00ffaa
