How to create custom categories?

I switched the Deck Default Category to "Custom categories", but all it did was put all of my cards into one big category, "Other". Can anyone direct me to what to do next?

You need to write the cards as follows:

1x Forest #Land
1x Counterspell #Control

Also, use underscores (_) to create spaces
