How to get more upvotes?

I see normal, everyday users getting like 20-30 upvotes on decks, while i struggle to get even 3. I am active on the site, maybe I am just doing something wrong?

They probably have been deck cycled for months on end.

I've seen brand new decks skyrocket in upvotes and views faster than you'd typically think is possible for this website.

Sometimes it is hit and miss
deckcycles and featuring a deck help get you more views (and usually more comments and traffic overall)
detailed descriptions and explaining stuff can help people understand what you are going for
Funny or catchy titles can help get people to focus their eyes on your deck
Also remember to keep updating your deck/progress against other builds because you can maybe find things out that you didnt think of before
But remember at the end of the day the "+1"s dont matter as long as you are having fun with the deck

You can always but the "needs help" tag on the deck to try and get people to view it.
