Idea with the Chat

In spite of having the chatroom that you can find here, it is never occupied by anybody. I figure that this is due, at least in part, to the fact that there is no easy way to find this. I have no idea how easy it would be to do so, but it may be nice, and help us get to know each other, to have a link to the freenode chat room on the main page, perhaps right up with the other things in the header bar.

I think you're right. I never even knew we had a chat room. I'm sure a little publicity may spruce it up.
