invisible comments and upgrade levels

Hi, I suppose it's a stupid question, but I'm new here and just ask: why can't I see comments on posted decks? Do I need to upgrade my account for that? By the way: is there an overview of levels and their rights?

Thanks in advance

You should be able to see all comments, if not, there might be a problem on your side (browser?). Afaik there is only one upgrade tier that allows you to color your name and edit your/delete other's comments (on your decks).

I also can't see comments on posted decks either which is super frustrating :/

I've tried several different browsers and nothing rectifies the problem.

People who have upgraded their account also reported having the same issues so yeah...I'm in no hurry to upgrade ;)

if a deck is listed as having comments but lacks them it is easily possible they have old comments hidden as old conversations can bloat a decklist. on the right side of the top of the comment box there should be a view archive button if they have.

First, welcome to T/O!

Could you link an example of a deck that's not working for you? That might help us find an explanation.

Also, there are two upgrade levels; descriptions are on the Extras page (under the person icon in the upper right).

It seems to me it doesn't really matter, which deck. E.G. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/21-10-19-qSs-gw-tokens/ Should have two comments according to the overview page...

Yep, the comments are there. So you say things just aren't working in internet explorer? But work fine in firefox?

boring_adam,
Yeah, what I wanted to check there was if it was just that the deck owner had archived comments (like what Demarge mentioned).

That wasn't the case though on the deck you linked. As an aside, you can put the "slug" (21-10-19-qSs-gw-tokens) inside 2x square brackets to link the deck directly, e.g., Bant Midrange (Pioneer). There are a bunch of other tips like that on the 'Formatting tips' page (linked under each comment block).

Anyways, on that deck, I can view the comments on the main page, whether I'm browsing in IE (v11), Chrome (v77), or Firefox (v70) and whether I'm logged in to T/O or not. So I really don't know ... and I'm sorry I can't help more.

yeaGO,
Sounds like this is one for you :-)

Update your version of IE would be my first step assuming it's an older pc... that or just don't use IE.

Beyond that I'm not much help either. Good luck.

Thanks, guys. On my PC I would just use Firefox, so no big issue there. But it's mainly about reading in the train on the way to work, which means Windows Phone. I haven't found a browser where it works so far. In Christmas, there's a new phone planned anyway, so we'll see then.
