So my deck went through a ton of revisions and I'm planning of re-posting it without deleting the original deck. Is that okay here?

You can edit it.

And you can cycle it.

You can also take the old rendition and stick it in an update. Remember that the site keeps track of each edit you make, so if you forget you can always check those.

I take it you want to have two separate decks, one being the new version of the other one? That's completely OK.

If you want to show that your deck is a version of another deck, you can just say so in your description. Or you can copy your old deck (on the deck's page in the right-hand menu) and replace the cards with your new deck, then it will add an item "Based on Old_Deck".
