Is there a limit to how many words you can put in a comment?

I have about 660 words in a comment on an article and it will not let me post it. I have removed all links to cards and such but when I try to post it I still get the "Please Correct the Error Below" screen with no text box or anything else on the page. I have tried a few different formats of the comment but none seem to work. The only thing that I can think of is a limit on the words in the comment. Any input helps.

Its been happening with too many links next to each other i believe. I've gotten the same error with one sentence so Idk. Probably just a temporary bug but I dont think there is a word limit.

I know that such a limit exists, but I don't remember what it is. Cut your post into multiple sections - multiposting is not as frowned upon if each post is different and constructive.

I only got that message when I tried linking a card that didn't exist.
